The 4 cm overhang acts like a built-in handle—grab it, lift, and the weights slide cleanly into a bowl, leaving your crust untouched. No scrubbing between lattice strips, no chasing runaway beads across the counter. Bake after bake, the only thing you’ll throw away is the paper, making post-pie cleanup faster than brewing the coffee you’ll sip with your slice.
